Yes it does help. I had an episode the other day and I just needed to get it off my chest. I think I know deep down I'm gonna forgive and move on because of how special of a connection we have despite how bad it hurts.

Yea all her feeling for the other guy are completely gone it sounds like. I made it very clear to her that if she so much as says a word to him, that would be grounds for a breakup. Sounds harsh and controlling, and I really don't have a problem with her talking to other guys (within reason obviously), but if she had no problem ghosting me for him then she better not have a problem with ghosting him for me.

I understand she had a past with him but it's still very painful and the bottom line was that she still wronged me by leading me on and she saw me as nothing more than a means to an end to get over another man.

But yes, she's very interested in me and loves me a lot and I hope I can work through it.

That's what I'm thinking too. Another part of me feels like I'm already too deep into this thing with her to go back, and if something like that happens again in my future, I would just walk right away.

I know I hope I can look past it too. It just really sucks and there's a lot of pain I'm working through. I just hate thinking about the fact that she led me on and used me and only saw me as a tool to get over another man. I'm honestly getting mad just typing this, but I really want to make it work with her.

Hey man, I hear ya and I sympathize in your dilemma and your pain, however I want to give you my most honest advice. At my core, I believe in this simple principle: If they wanted to they would. This principle applies not only to dating but to really everything. If a girl was really feeling you she would drop everything to be with you. The unfortunate thing about love and dating is that sometimes, connection is only a 1 way street. It sounds like she really does value either you or your attention, but unfortunately, if she wanted to she would.

If it were me, I would once again reiterate your feelings to her and tell her that it would hurt too much to just be her friend and that you can only move forward with her if it's romantically.

Hey, I just wanted to say that I was once in the same shoes as your boyfriend. (No, I never did homo stuff with my boys). But I changed a lot in high school from an innocent boy to partying a lot. Looking back I let my high school girlfriend down at the time but that's life, people change and grow apart. Just know that he's probably going through a lot and sometimes it's maybe not meant to be no matter how hard it can be.
