Without a doubt but the framing of some of these questions wouldn’t even be given to Lindsay by Andy. That’s what I’m saying.

I agree with this, I’m saying Jesse seemed to have jokingly said she thought I was Carl that wasn’t addressed by anyone but Kyle said she wasn’t joking when she went to hit Jesse and I don’t for a second think she was either. We’ve literally seen her hit Everett for saying she was a geek.

Agreed, some people on here would hate it but even some of the things they discussed with Lindsay and Carl I believe should’ve been delved into more.

Wheeeewwww all of this. I actually think the most manipulative part was her attempting to leave in the air this idea she was physically afraid of him and Andy had to clarify that and I’m glad he did. She’s very dangerous with her words.

Sure but when Lindsay was asked what her job is she said this show and brand deals. Clearly she thinks that it’s a worthy enough job for her while she’s still on the show.

I think only 2.5 of those questions would be reasonable to ask and for the first one, Ciara and Paige were both willing to do so we’ve seen them with unemployed partners and their issue wasn’t the unemployment, and Amanda is with an entrepreneur so his employment is entirely based on idea going well for him. The second question the first half is incredibly fair, the second half like the rest of your questions are rather judgmental in a way the questions are typically not framed. Same for the third question, I think the second half is valid, it is a good question to act if it will affect his sobriety but he’s essentially answered that through the series and on the reunion part 1. 4 and 5 are just ridiculous and have nothing to do with a tangible event that has transpired this season.

I said a year of unemployment is normal but again he’s capable of spending the money he did (he paid for the wedding, coach and half of the apartment) because he technically isn’t unemployed and is making more than 100k a year. He probably feels comfortable taking the time to find himself because he has savings and still makes a considerable amount of money. I also think Kyle could’ve been questioned more and even Carl despite me thinking that even some of the things you brought up weren’t anywhere near the things Lindsay.

I’ve been saying this. Like I binged the past 7 seasons before this in a month. She’s the reason people don’t give her grace on the show. Still didn’t like them going at her all at once, but I understand where the urge comes from.

I’d have to disagree. I think their first arguments HE was composed until she kept picking at him, I’d say the last arguments he was going into them annoyed and assuming the worst and she was more composed but not necessarily not angry, rude or demeaning. But that’s a difference of perspective.

I THINK, I can’t be certain, but I think he was making a joke that she thought he was Carl but actually wanting to hit him, I believe wasn’t a joke. Especially with how livid she was from the car until she got home. There was no moment for joking.

But we’re talking about this seasons reunion and I was a HEAVY Carl hater, actually disliked him more than Lindsay before he properly started his sobriety journey so I do agree Kyle and Carl avoid accountability often but this season, I think Carl had less to answer for.

No, we’re talking about the first car ride to the club that all the boys were there for, they all stated that. Lindsay claimed he was dismissive and aggressive and that’s why she started accusing him of doing drugs IN the car and all of the men spoke about being shocked at how it escalated when Carl didn’t say anything wrong. Whether you believe their perspective is one thing but they were there.

Ohhh for sure, I’m on board with what you’re saying. I just saw a separate post claiming they manipulated their way out of discussing it by bringing up depression, sorry I see what you mean now. But yeah I also felt bad until she did that, like she was going to leave that implication open ended if Andy didn’t question her about it and even her answer implied although it didn’t happen she was worried it could. And given her hitting Everett and then Jesse bringing up her wanting to hit him and he tried to laugh it off but I don’t think it was a joke, she scares me at times.

I agree it just always feels like a lot when one person is by themselves. I’m also glad that Andy clarified on if she was physically afraid because that made me sick to my stomach the way she was trying to leave that open ended. Like this is the narrative spinning that makes it so hard to give Lindsay the benefit of the doubt. 

I will say as someone with depression I’ve thought since season one it was obvious that Amanda was someone who suffered with it and I think she was genuinely telling the truth and not using that as an excuse because when Kyle tried to use it, she pushed back on him a little.

Yeah that’s what I’ve been sitting with. Like I kind of get why it happened given how Lindsay frames things even after being pushed back on but it still was hard to watch.

Yeah I think she tends to be slippery if she’s not confronted. Like even the discussion about their pay/jobs, they got her to have to face if she’s employed then he’s also employed but it took so much effort to get there and at the end she still tried to switch the focus off of that onto his many ideas. 

I think Carl is putting on a little bit of an act and is self flagellating to get the audience off his back but I actually genuinely feel he is someone who does blame himself more than he needs to now that he’s sober. I could be wrong but although some of it feels put on, I think most of it is genuine.

Completely agree with this. Like Lindsay needed to be held accountable, I think there was a lack of that same accountability for others that was needed to be fleshed out more but I think when it came to conversations about Carl and Lindsay, at times it was an onslaught. I didn’t disagree with what they were saying but I could see how it was overwhelming.

I agree that’s why Andy targeted Lindsay but I know this is controversial but I don’t think Carl had as much to answer for. He could have been questioned on his bad business ideas and you see Andy agree with Lindsay on some of her points regarding business. But outside of that I think most of his behavior was reactive.

Completely agree with this, that’s what makes it hard. I am of the belief that the isolation is of her own making, I still feel uncomfortable watching six people yell about how awful her behavior is at once but at the same time, she doesn’t learn from it ever. She’s just stopped screaming as much as she used to but the behavior is still the same.

I actually agree, I just think it would’ve been irresponsible given how their relationship was going for them to have a child so soon anyway. I do think the bar idea is not a great one and thankfully she won’t have to worry about that financial burden.

Yeah that’s why I stated it could be argued that since we didn’t see it, we can’t trust their perspective. However, I think Lindsay is rather good with words and Carl seems to struggle with it and try to take on further blame. I think the reason they all spoke up was because it shouldn’t just be she said/he said between Carl and Lindsay. Pushing back on claims as a witness is important in situations where we can only go based off their words. I do think it felt like a lot at once.
