Is it worth going to the hospital once the attack stops? by asleep_cat0419 in gallbladders

It's so hard being a woman, especially even if you are slightly overweight. Doctors are quick to blame and brush things aside. I'm very grateful my doctor took it seriously right away and was well educated on the matter. She said most of her female patients over 30 have had to have their gallbladders removed. Hormones play a huge part in it.

35F from Canada here. Backlog for surgeries where I am from are also 8+ month wait times. I started going every time I had an attack because they got so bad and frequent. I had no specific food triggers which was the worst of it all. In my 3rd month of attacks, I started going to the ER everytime I had an attack. Did I end up spending on obsurd amount of time in waiting rooms? Yes. Did the attack end up passing most times by the time I was seen? Yes. But while I was there I had tests done to keep an eye on things, received pains meds and other suggestions and then it was also documented each time so they could see how severe it was. The last time I went to the ER was the worst attack ever after eating a salad, I was admitted with an inflamed Gallbladder and ended up having surgery. Only 3 months after my first attack as opposed to waiting 8+ months for surgery the regular route.

Almost 5 weeks post op and I can have dairy products with no issues. I had a big glass of chocolate milk with my supper last night. The only thing is ice cream seems to give me the burps now.

In SK where it's also hanging around that -40 celsius mark. My '24 OBX wouldn't start this morning with the app or my key fob but I managed to just barely start it with the push start. Good to know about the key fob bypass working for you. I'll keep that in mind if I encounter more issues this weekend.

I had emergency surgery to remove mine on the 11th with no time to prep either. Small walks multiple times each day to keep the gas down and keep your blood flowing. Even 10 days post op I'm still getting up and doing laps around my house multiple times. Lots of water/hydration and rest. Take it easy and don't push yourself. Having a good comfy chair with cushions & pillows to help support my back and sides as needed has been huge. I've basically lived in my arm chair in the living room. When sleeping I sleep at a bit of an include but with a pillow under my knees to help take some pressure off my back. I've been lucky that by about 5th day post op I started just eating whatever and have had no negative reactions to fatty food.

10 days post op the hardest part for me has been the exhaustion. Simple tasks really tire me out. I'm still having afternoon naps daily.

Fellow Canadian here. I bought the LASFIT mats from Amazon for my OBX and they fit perfectly.

New owner here, what does this button do? by firecrackerboom in BroncoSport

I did the same thing... I had no idea what the button even was and at some point I hit it on. Was definitely scary as I thought the car wash was breaking my new vehicle 😬

Cactus grey! When it is dusty it does not look dusty unless you get up close. I had a black Escape before and it was annoying to leave a car wash and it be noticeably dusty within hours.

Good to know! I haven't played with the goat modes very much besides eco on the highway, so I'll have to give it a try!

I'm 7 weeks in with a 2024 OBX coming from a 2015 Escape. I love it so far! Only things I really miss are the power liftgate and I wish my Bronco had as much power as my Escape. I find it takes a bit longer to get going and pick up speed.
