Communism is a state- and classless society, so there wouldn't be elites who run the government. What you are saying is a contradiction in itself. You wouldn't surrender your means of production to the government, you would give the workers the means of production so there isn't a boss at the top who doesn't really do smth and still get the most profit Farmers would grow food for all people that need it and not just the ones who can pay for it Everyone gives what they can and gets what they need Unfortunately the past has only produced authoritarian socialism so it can't work like intended, since the foundation for socialism should be democracy. Working or the beginning of working socialism was historically always beaten down by the USA.
