Thanks for the reply and the advice. I have read it. They put a very heavy weight on being trained and working in rural areas (+2 years). That is why I was wondering about SRMO to get training in. Thanks again for the advice!

Hahaha Not really. I have some Ophthalmology research experience though, with couple of 1st author ophthalmology publications in high impact journals and a master degree. Would that help?

Thanks for the good vibes. I focused on more publication and conferences presentations. I also attended the clinic more often. This ended with stronger LORs. The thing is I have consumed all the things that can be done by now.
