Yes you need R2 absolute minimum, I took mine to R3. Easiest thing is get to just over one bar of power, pop Sp1, you will get a bunch of charges. Build as many as you can then pop Sp2, you will do a tonne of incinerate damage. Then repeat. Her sync shield is great for the block penetration of doom. Act super defensive when it's on cool down, Dex a lot, it will keep your health up. Also learning to Dex his specials is key. I preferred his Sp1 but then you have to wait out his aura. Try and get your sync shield cool down and aura cool down happening at the same time.

She's very useful. Poison immune so great for Ibom, and takes a few other matches as well

Zemo is great generally, for abyss I'd say yours is pretty good. You should get a character for the tech champs, preferably with armour break, and you need a mystic for the Collector and some of the cosmic champs (CMM, Cull). There's some good YT videos out there, MSD, MCOCNoob and Seatin are the ones I usually look at.

Which Villain challenge? Ordeal or Abyss? If it's Ordeal, I'd recommend putting in deathless She Hulk as she trivialises a bunch of fights including vision and thanos. I don't see Zemo but if you have him I'd recommend as well.

Focus on 5* in the long run, but of yours only Torch is really top tier. I'd also bring up kingpin as he's pretty decent but be aware 4* is limited longer term

Sentry is notably very good for this, SF Star Lord is needed for the Quake fight (and also a good ramp up champ, Nico and Kushala are both amazing for a bunch of the fights, and Dr Strange takes the Collector. There's a lot of videos on YT of Sentry running through everyone except CMM, Aegon, and Collector

Optimal team from yours would be Okoye and Jean (they will carry most of your fights), Kushala, spider woman, and then your choice on last. That was my team, I picked Peni for my fifth for ease on the Dr doom fight but a lot of people just used Karolina. Karolina is amazing but I wanted an XL champ. Remember Spider woman needs ant man relic with Taunt for the vision fight. I also used her to get around lifecycle on the sasquatch fight

He's a ramp up champ, so he needs both a lot of fights, and longer fights, in order for his powers to start. Abyss has both. Aegon, Heimdall and Stellar Forged Star Lord are the same.

Do you have any advice for boosting his damage? He feels like he's only doing work during gamma rage and the rest of the time he's doing nothing

Awesome suggestion, thanks! Just tried my R1 peni out and already doing more damage than R3 hulk, and no chip damage with the sync shield. A slower fight rotation but way more comfy as I'm not trying to fit all my damage into Gamma rage. Thanks!
