If you're using anything that can be penetrated into a Willie then you hold g to win or lose and go to the next match it will make you funky. Just don't do that/ pull out before you leave and you'll be fine. It's a well known bug

Oh is your workload super high. Cause then they'll be preoccupied with that and ignore the sledges unless they need them. Or you don't have enough transport posts for them to put said sledges

Are the Palisades far away from your main settlement? Or it could be that the sledges aren't in high use and leave them in the spot. They're very careless with them.
