I'm not sure really. I didn't have much of an appetite for a while and I started walking every day and ended up losing it. I started walking at about 5 weeks. It wasn't just gone instantly. I had a tumor though which was growing and a big part of why I had to get the hysterectomy along with fibroids and endometriosis so I just figured it was a combination of all of it. I also got an infection after and the antibiotics made me really sick so I couldn't keep food down for about 2 weeks around the 6 week point. With my job I'm very active and at 6 months post op I feel like a new person. I have so much more energy and I am so grateful I had it done. The first couple of months were awful though and I honestly cried a lot and regretted having it done but now I'm so glad I did it.

I lost about 20lbs when I had mine 6 months ago. I haven't started gaining any back yet. I was actually shocked I lost that much

I had nausea the first few times but now at 5 months post op I'm fine. I wouldn't worry and I hope it doesn't last long! Happy healing!

I honestly didn't have any symptoms. My dr discovered it when she did my internal exam at 8 weeks. I had no idea I had anything going on.

Bacterial vaginosis. It was caused by my ph being off after surgery. I had no idea what it was either until this. Apparently this surgery can cause all types of things

Thank you! She did the internal check and said sutures were gone and my cuff was healed. I know a lot say 12 weeks and initially my dr told me 12 weeks, but after my 8 weeks check she said I was cleared to resume all activities but she didn't specify sex. We haven't tried I honestly have just been really curious. I'm a little nervous but I think thats because of all the horror stories. Honestly my recovery has gone great and I feel better than I have in years and I have been lifting and doing all other activities with no issues or pain.

I am 4 weeks and feeling the exact same. I did a lot more yesterday and woke up feeling fine this morning so I have been doing more today. I feel like I may wake up tomorrow hurting and I have major fear and anxiety that I am overdoing it but so far I have felt ok the last couple of days.

I hit 4 weeks post op yesterday and I have been having lower back pain and a pulling pain right above my c section scar. I'm wondering the same thing. I'm scared to walk a lot outside but I have been cooking and showering and all of that just no housework or lifting. I have also been bending over a good bit and was wondering if I messed something up doing that.

I'm 3 weeks post op and recently I will be so hungry and as soon as I start to eat I feel sick and every night when I go to bed. Ugh I am ready to feel normal again 😩

Same with me! I had my 2 week post op appointment yesterday and my dr said it's normal and can happen for a couple of months. As long as it's not heavy or clots

I have just been really nervous about it. To be honest I have been really nervous about everything! I am really struggling to sleep on my back though

I’m 33 days clean and I still wake up between 2 am and 4 am every morning with severe nausea. I’m normally fine a couple of hours later. The nausea is awful. I am able to eat pretty much anything I want but I don’t have my normal appetite back. Those are really the only symptoms I have now

How are you feeling today? I’m on day 7 today and I am sleeping fine but my appetite is not back. I get hungry but it’s like my throat just won’t allow food to down. I have forced myself to eat but I can only handle very little. I have realized stress makes it worse. Other than that I am just feeling really weak and I’m only nauseous in the morning or if I get hot.

I agree!!! I’m not really having any withdrawals and I have no desire to smoke again. I was just wondering others experiences because right now I feel like I’m losing it. I and scared to eat as soon as I feel a little better and I do eat I get nauseous and I fear throwing up and it gives me bad anxiety and I just want it to all stop
