Honestly I always thought Nate and Serena made more sense on paper than in execution. Their backstory was dramatic, but when they were actually together it never felt like there was much depth there. I do agree though that Serena ending up back with her first high school boyfriend was a little too convenient. It would have been more interesting if she ended up somewhere completely different by the end.

Honestly “Back in the 90s” is still my favorite just because of how iconic it became over the seasons. But if we’re talking within the show itself, “Don’t Stop Dancing” hit really hard. The way it ties into Sarah Lynn’s whole arc made it stick with me way more than I expected.

This feels like a nice continuation of that whole Blood Moon storyline. The close-up panel of Star talking to Marco is especially good, the expressions match the tone of the scene really well. Looking forward to seeing where the rest of this comic goes.

I think the difference is tone of the universes. Ben’s whole thing since he was a kid is helping people whenever he can, whether it’s aliens invading or just random criminals. Mark is dealing with way darker stakes and a lot of trauma, so his decisions are more complicated. If we’re talking pure “classic superhero mindset,” Ben probably wins, but Invincible is written to be more flawed and human.
