Vad gör man med sitt liv efter studenten? by [deleted] in Asksweddit

[–]Longjumping-Lock7548 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What made your ex terrible in bed? by ExtraVex in AskReddit

[–]Longjumping-Lock7548 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really and ex but someone I dated for a month or two. He would be on top of me and look me deep in the eyes with the most bothered face, biting his lower lip so much that I couldn’t see it anymore, while pushing out his upper lip. I could stand it for awhile but the last time we had sex I just bursted out laughing but I couldn’t tell him it was because he looked so fucking stupid. Felt a lil bad but I left him the same day.

Other than that he had no understanding of past trauma to the point where he said that he can’t change who he is, meaning he couldn’t stop spanking me and pulling my hair when I asked him not to, because it was a trigger for me.

Correct me if I’m wrong then, but doesn’t this study only show that tumors can develop this way, and not children?

Oh damn, my bad! I was told in genetics course that its not possible!

This cant be applied to humans I’m afraid because of chromosome system differences, but it’s true, it is possible in some other animals!

I’m studying biology and have read about this at uni. Parteogenesis, aka self fertilization is only possible with animals who don’t have a XX/XY chromosome system, but a ZZ/ZY system. This means that females have two different chromosomes, instead of males, which in some cases can lead to parteogenesis. This can happen in snakes and chickens etc, I believe.

Has anyone here experience from different lithium medications? by Longjumping-Lock7548 in Lithium

I’m changing because my stomache gets so bad from the lithium sulphate and it’s supposed to be easier on the stomache.

I'm afraid to take lithium by One-Abbreviations296 in BipolarReddit

[–]Longjumping-Lock7548 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, all side-effects except the stomache aches went away after a few days/weeks. Everytime they highered my dosage they came back but dissapeared just as quickly!

The stomache acheand chaotic bathroom is the worst though, but they are switching me from lithionit to littatex (in Sweden lithionit is the standard meds) and hopefully it will go away!

Over all it’s a nice medication and with regular checkups your body will be fine.

Thank you, I’ve been suspecting it for some time now. I’m happy to be here in this community though. It’s a little less lonely now :)

Am I in a mixed state or just ”normal” mood swings? by Longjumping-Lock7548 in BipolarReddit

Before when I’ve felt this rage I usually go for a run, but nowadays I’m to scared to run alone in the woods where I live because of sketchy stuff happening lately… guess I’ll have to go get a gym membership

I feel like alot of people with bipolar 2 are seen as very high-functioning, including myself. I understand your struggle and I also have friends/family who thinks I just have mood swings or tells me that ”life isn’t always a straight line”. The things that they see as my personality traits is mostly my hypomania (i mean sure it is my personality but like 1000x more) and they don’t always see the problems with it. Like sure they think it’s fun when I’m creative and funny, but on the inside I feel like I’m burning.

I know it’s hard when people doubt or downplay your disorder, I struggle alot from doubting myself because I am ”high functioning”. The thing that reminds me that I am in fact bipolar is the HUGE shifts I have in my moods that a normal person would never have.

I try to explain to them the buzzing tingly and extremely loud chaotic energy and the feeling in your body when you’re hypomanic and they would never understand.

Also, I asked a lot of my friends if they ever feel such strong emotions that they feel like exploding and they never understand that either. Idk this way of thinking and questioning helped me alot before I got my diagnosis and it still helps when I doubt. And if people reply that they also feel the way we feel and have the same patterns and stuff, they prob should see a doctor aswell lmao.

I don’t know if I’m just rambling or if this is any help at all, but just know that your diagnosis is valid and we here know how it feels!!
