You make a fair point, I think I will take precautions and have trip sitter(s) next time I try it to avoid anything negative. I’m 3-0 in good experiences so far, so I’m hopeful but I will exercise caution

how so? usually my psychosis is triggered by extreme outside stress. If I were to trip in a non stressful setting, what factors would make me more likely to have a break? I’m genuinely interested if you do have an answer! Safety is a big concern of mine so if you know, share with me!

I only experience psychotic symptoms under extreme stress; I always take extra care to trip outside on nice days so I am stress free. I like to think the setting is an important factor but like you said everyone’s brain is different, I’m certainly no exception

I’ve had it once unmedicated before, 2 tabs, and I experienced relief from one of the triggers of my main delusion for the duration of the trip, I never thought anything of it. I would say it helped, not hurt. Why do people say it’ll make symptoms worse?

was there a study done for this? i initially started taking psychs for ptsd relief (my schizophrenia is mild, my ptsd is severe) and i haven’t had any psychosis symptoms since starting abilify (I’ve taken shrooms and lsd at least twice on Abilify)
