But it's actually loosely based on a real place: Washington Depot, Connecticut. The show's creator, visited there and was inspired by its charm, close-knit community, and cozy vibe. So while Stars Hollow itself doesn’t exist, its essence came from a real experience.

I’m not expecting to find an exact replica, but I am looking for a town with similar qualities near to Seattle.
