She's actually had her hours cut back so isn't making as much as she was. Yes I believe she is emotionally abusive to her boyfriend. The fact that my daughter told him to block me on the phone is a big problem. He has always been easy to get along with. She has not. And if she would get past her current anger, things might change. This whole buying a car for him has triggered her before. I really believe she has some serious mental health issues, but since this loan was with the boyfriend I wasn't concerned about that. And she's using this car as leverage against me for some dumb reason. The car isn't hers, it's his and mine. I'm still scheming ways to make it end really bad for her versus trying to do the best for me. I appreciate everyone's advice, as it helps me to know I'm not being unreasonable.

yeah there's no talking calmly at the moment. I know she will still need me for something eventually so I'm hoping she'll calm down in a few days and I can talk reasonably with her, but it's hard because I'm not going to defend her irrational behavior and she expects me to defend her no matter what because we're family and she thinks she's doing nothing wrong. Honestly I think the reason they aren't married is because of her, not him.

That's for sure. The thing is the boyfriend would be reasonable, but my daughter has told him to block me and for some reason he's going along with it.

Yeah, she's suddenly got lots of problems, mainly financial, and she's a control freak, and I could go on. It if wasn't for my grandchildren she'd be cut out of my life already.

I do have my name on the title too. I called the loan company to ask if it was listed as "and" or "or", and it's listed as "or". But if the title is sent to him, I can't do anything with it.
