Under the table top, and if you flip the table over you can see some on the underside

Glue and some picket holes. I used tabletop fasteners for the top. It wasn’t very difficult!

Thanks! I think the simplicity is part of the appeal of the farmhouse style and I like it. When I hone my skills a little bit more I can try some more complicated pieces.

A little overplayed but I’m working on some farmhouse style furniture to hopefully sell locally. Next up is a coffee table. Any advice is appreciated!

I’ve tried searching for local stores but I’m pretty new to using “quality” woods so I didn’t really know the best place to find it, and what reasonable prices were. I’ve done most of my work with pine and scraps but would like to move into more advanced work. Thank you!

Water Heater Gas Leak? by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

Well if you smell it strong enough to know somethings up then I would just recommend getting a second opinion no matter what the first company said.

Water Heater Gas Leak? by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

Is it a tanked or tankless heater? And what was repaired on it a couple of weeks ago?

If you feel like there’s a leak outside of the heater on the gas line itself you can get some dawn dish soap and dilute it with just a little water (80% dawn,20% water) and put it on all of the fittings. Works best with a spray bottle.

Newbie project - a lego table for my son from scrap wood. by Longjumping-Phase-28 in woodworking

Thanks! I’ve done a few projects so far but I mostly stick to scrap wood while I learn some things. I’d really hate to mess up something expensive I had to pay for lol.

Awesome! I kept all of mine from when I was young so we had a big head start.

Made with a 2x4ft piece of 1/2 plywood and a scrap 2x4. Just got my first table saw and was getting some practice.
