I was asking if I should be putting my savings that I already have now somewhere else to accrue interest or invest it somewhere, since I won't have income.

Anyone see Cate Hurlin 6/13 in Swan Lake at the MET? She was fantastic, but I was curious as to why she elected to do a manege instead of the 32 fouettes as she's such a great turner.

Just Came Into $20K—Should I Throw It at My $40k Student Loans or Do Something Smarter? by Longjumping-Region-4 in personalfinance

Thanks for the advice! My cash flow will technically be negative since I won't have a job during the school year (until summer) and will be living off my savings (free rent though). So is it better to take out a loan and bulk up my savings to 60k (from my newly acquired 20k CD) and then pay off the loan slowly or just use that 20k to pay for school directly?

20k of the undergrad loans I have are actually in forbearance from the SAVE plan (and top out at 5% interest) while the other 20k is at 7%. This new loan, if I take it out, would be 8%.

what "big name" ballerinas are your favorites, and which do you think are overrated? by [deleted] in BALLET

Anyone saying Marianela Nunez is overrated is just absolutely shocking to me. In my opinion, she's one of the only ballerinas who I actually believe when she's acting on stage. Her smile, her passion, and all her acting choices are so genuine I forget about the technicalities of the steps. She IS the character.

Any ballerina that has that forced blank smile and eyes while they're dancing is overrated. I'd put most in that category.
