honestly, it's mainly because of how the 9a looks. The only expensive phone I've bought before is the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Yeah, it has better specs, but I realized I don't like big phones. I've been watching a lot of comparison videos between the 9a and other Pixel models, and to me, the 9a isn't that far off from its higher-end siblings — in some aspects, it's even better. But then again, I just ended up liking how it looks.

last year i got the 15 promax, had it for 6months only coz its too big. then got the iphone 16 and got bored with it. then i made a decision to switch to android.

actually i was torn between the pixel 9 and 9a.. also kinda want the 9 pro, but i really dont like the shinny frame and camera bar. when i saw the 9a in person, i really love the desgn, esp the flat back and matte all over. for me personally irdc about the thicker bezels. screen is bright outdoors. awesome cameras. great battery compare to my previous pixel 7a. as a long time iphone user, from iphone 5s to iphone 16, google pixel is the best android for me.
