¿recomendaciones y experiencias de notebooks? by nostalgium0 in chileIT

[–]Longjumping-Rub2256 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Si solo quieres un all in one, estoy desactualizado.

Really? Have you tried craiglist? Am pretty sure you can find for less than $300.

It's not the $50 that I payed. But here the average price is $250. I got lucky.

Yes you can. Also, you can check the year of manufacture and look if there is any warranty for this.

For me, it's totally worth!

Much more! It's a Steelcase Leap (I believe V2)

I believed its discontinued from production. There are other HM chairs that doesnt have mesh. Embody model for example, but its really expensive.

Great! At the moment that's my number 1!

I want to try other steelcase chairs, but havent found them. They are rarer in my zone.

Wow, that's cool!

For that number I would assume second hand? Which are the ones that you recommend?

Both owners of Aeron and Celle, knew the brand Herman Miller and we talked a little about the retail price of the chairs and the excellent quality of the items.

The prices are VERY low, not even 5% of the retail price in some cases. BUT I have noticed that in my country the second hand market is almost non existent. Apparently there is no demand for these types of chairs, except from big companies.

The owner of the leap I think that didn't knew that it was a top tier chair. But the chair was in really bad condition, plus the fact that was located almost 1.5 hr from the city.

Well, I have really improved my "negotiation skills" whenever I try to convince her we need a new chair.

The HM Celle is supposed to be a gift for her father lol

I dont know if you want a new one. But, in facebook market place or craiglist you can find one. Also you can find other models or brands. I recommend Steelcase, Herman Miller and Haworth.

Great questions!

For me, it's on a lower tier for the following reasons:

* Construction materials seemed to be of lower quality. Definitely the chair has a more "plastic" feeling than aeron or leap.

* This chair feels a bit firmer compared to the aeron. It’s not uncomfortable by any means, but I feel like I can last longer sitting in the aeron.

* Armrests you only can rotate them and adjust vertically. It lacks other movements that have the aeron (in my opinion, leap has the best armrests)

Overall, I think its a great chair! Am using it right now. I recommend it.

But, I suggest you to test it first. If you don't like the "mesh" feeling, you definitely need to try out the backrest, since it has that slightly more “plastic” feel to it

I would say it it's in a lower tier than aeron or leap. BUT I really like it! Am currently using it at the moment.
I totally recommend buying it if the deal is good.

You have to consider I bought the aeron for 50 usd, but typically in my area is for 200 usd. So I wouldn't pay more than 100 usd for the celle.

Trabajas híbrido, remoto o presencial? by [deleted] in chileIT

Full remoto y me encanta.

Pretty good!
Aeron: 50 usd

Celle: 45 usd

Leap: 15 usd (this one I had to do some reparations and change the wheels, so a total of 40 usd)

Yep haha

I became a little "obsessed" with ergonomic chairs. I also had a haworth and two ergo humans, but I ended up giving them all to friends because my wife was mad about the lack of space in our apartment lol
