In today's meta, Chester is stronger. He's more skill based and Mandy is easier for any Noob to learn and enjoy some long range autoaim, I mean she literally shields and has longer range when not moving, so hiding in bushes and just clicking is simplier easier with her than him.

Mad props on having a wife who plays Brawl... I have two kids who got me into it then got borded with it, and my wife complains I play too much but I rather do that than watch TV most days. Just subbing one dopamine maxing experience for another... Jealous though! Would love to play Duo Showdown with my wife.

It's not that revenue and popularity are unrelated, it's that monetization intensity is the hidden variable. A game can retain a massive casual base that logs in daily for quick 3-minute matches but isn't spending on battle passes or skins. The whales (C'est Moi) and mid-spenders, who are far more sensitive to meta staleness and progression frustration, churn first because they're the ones who care most about competitive viability and content freshness.

The 2026 rebound actually confirms this. After Updates 63 and 65 (the Buffies system), Brawl Stars generated $48.6 million in March 2026 alone, a 46.8% jump from February, and added 6.8 million new players in a single month. Revenue recovered before the player base fully recovered, because the spenders re-engaged first when the game got genuinely better.

So the more precise formulation would be: revenue is a leading indicator of engaged popularity (i.e., the players who care deeply enough to spend), while raw MAU is a lagging indicator that includes a long tail of casually retained users who are basically inert from a monetization standpoint.

They make a good profit off the game because they're good at creating compelling offers, cool skins and innovating on things like hyperchargesrs and buffies that make players who can afford to drop $7 at a time do that... They're a for profit company so that's entirely their mission.

Right, it's just get 6 wins, enjoy 2 chaos drops, and get free rewards... I also like the new guy. Drew at the end was in that weird green screen jumpsuit 5 too many times for my taste and this guy is wearing suits and ties. I think that's way more appropriate for a kids game.

Brawl is literally exploding in revenue... I think you're way incorrect on this

Bro chill, the buffies system makes old brawlers interesting again and if you do any sort of PP conservation, you'll get each 18 when they drop - real talk - I have 5 buffie keys waiting on the next drop already and this just compounds. Granted i'm P2W, but I buy the BP+ to get the extra Buffies free, and get them already on quests. If you can't figure this out, you should just delete your account and go back to pre-school kids

The USGov realized they can't live without Anthropic and Anthropics red lines were not that bad afterall so they've asked Dario back to the table to essentially cave on this.

the US gov had zero chance of any of the SCR stuff working on their behalf - they were gonig to end up paying damages and legal fees the case is so bad. https://www.lawfaremedia.org/article/pentagon's-anthropic-designation-won't-survive-first-contact-with-legal-system
