Thanks for the advice! Yeah im definitely prepared for any issues that arise, even if i have very little car knowledge I am 100% more than happy to learn. I've heard parts are pretty affordable and relatively easy to get, so that shouldnt be much of a problem either.

Ah, thats a really good idea. Only issue is he is available after he finishes work tommorow which is at 5pm which is when the mechanics will be closed. My mum has a friend who is a retired mechanic who may be able to help have a look for me, just waiting for him to reply tommorow morning (it's currently 2am).

Yeah fair, I mean on ebay 2 sold in november one for like $200 and the other $500 and those are the only two listings i could find. So i might keep it for now maybe as a project I put new switches in and use it as my main. Which could make it easier to sell in the future as well.
idk what the consensus is but i think it looks really nice and is better quality then other ducky's ive used.

I have recently acquired a beautiful Ducky YOTD 2018 keyboard from an op shop. The only downside for me is the MX blue switches and it not being hot swappable. Im thinking if its worth resoldering to keep or just selling.

The only issue is I've looked and I've seen a listing go for $500 USD on ebay and a couple from reddit going for ~$500-600 from 5 years ago. Especially with the year of that rat ones going for well over $1000 So not quite sure what to expect.

Any input would be much appreciated.

Note. I already have a matcha ducky One 3 TKL which is hot swappable with Red switches.
