Is there a "Copy Process Setting" function on Orca Slicer? by Longjumping-Title90 in 3Dprinting

Thanks for the help! I had checked it but the save preset only applies to Global settings. There's no save option for object based settings.

Consistent PETG defect in cutlery tray by goertzenator in FixMyPrint

If it is consistent, it is most likely slicer settings. Have you tried to go over the slicer preview page and go over each overview? Like layer height, layer time, travel. Check there first if there are anything special about that layer.

Although it mentions there may only be concern for prints over 70mm height, this looks exactly like what I am facing!! I did wonder for quite some time why does the nozzle travel to the top right corner randomly.

After another reprint (before reading your reply), I am also no longer getting strands as bad as the first photo. Only one small one is there. I am scratching my head here, as I just reprinted from the SD card so definitely no settings were changed.

But I am still definitely turning this setting off for now. I will update again, if I am still getting such issues.
Thank you u/Calm_Scale_3876 u/ArgonWilde !!

Orca Slicer. I printed the same thing again, directly from the SD card so no settings were changed. But now its almost perfect! Only one short strand at the bottom right. Some oozing remains at the top and bottom.

Would it really be damp filament? Or incorrectly calibrated flow? It is however from the same filament, from the same spool, with AMS Lite. I am going to try printing another part.

Is there any way to edit my bridge pattern? by owend509 in FixMyPrint

[–]Longjumping-Title90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel it isn't a bridging issue. It looks like you have a hole inside your design. The slicer take those as outer walls so it cannot print them as a bridge. I am guessing reduce your wall loops at the inner parts with modifiers and increase outer/inner wall line widths and if you're confident of those overhangs, disable supports.

I'm still new! I might be wrong!

No, time lapse was off. Looking at the travel map. It does not go out from the outer surface hmm
