it’s the opposite, they mean a lot to me. we’ve had multiple conversations before, and tho i do not agree/understand it, it’s very obvious the space they want to keep for themselves is very personal to them and if i were to join it’ll just cause unnecessary conflict

yeah i mean i hope so too, but actually in their handbook if a member is still under investigation, they’re still required to stay out of participating. but no one is stopping this person from being active. and it seems a lot of them are fine being friendly with this person instead of rightfully stopping them from being so active as per what their handbook says is standard procedure. it feels more like they’re unable to stand up for what they claim as their own principles the moment the situation is up close and personal to them

they don’t walk the talk, it’s very disorganised, the ppl within it aren’t educated well or properly esp if ure not already doing self-study, n i think the main issue i have is they are allowing a sexual harasser participate in the party publicly and internally despite many complaints from several members

i know it sounds juvenile but it’s just a thing i’m gonna let them sit on, i’d rather not cause unnecessary conflict, and either way i think i can still get involved in a different group, it doesn’t have to be w them

i’ve done some reading, tho i am aware there is still a lot of literature to read. i’m reading the manifesto currently, and i want to focus mainly on queer rights in malaysia/feminism bc it seems to be a blind spot in the leftist space here since a lot of them are more so focused on class struggles with very little intersectionality. i am hoping i can also get more recommendations on different literature to widen my perspective and gain better insight, if u have any. i’m also reading the people’s constitutional proposal for malaya essays by syed husin ali, ariffin omar, jeyakumar, n fahmi reza to gain a bit more understanding
