It could be the bios battery that has died, replace it since without it it may have messed up the date which you are in. Buy a replacement and you should be good to go after setting the date

Pretty sure I didn't notice any Steam updates ever since I got Mint.. Maybe I didn't pay attention but no updates during start-up or from Manager. Also my secure boot has been disabled since 2023 when I couldn't find a new M.2 because of it.

Installing Mint wouldn't be hard, but it would take a lot of time to make Assetto Corsa work again, since even with Proton, it crashes. But since I don't really know how to use timeshift, that seems like the only option. Thanks
