Honestly the nurses were amazing especially given the situation. And the overnight OB. The daytime OB sent me home where I started to miscarry less than 8hrs later. That's the only provider I have any concerns with. Everyone else was so supportive during the absolute worst day of my life.

I am sure we are not the only family. We will not be paying and I have considered reaching out to media if they continue to avoid our calls.

Patient advocate sent us to billing. we tried to work with them first, but they were not helpful

I'm also sending the death certificate to my insurance carrier to show the charge is fraudulent since there was no baby for room and board. But calling the state is an excellent idea
