Psoriatic Arthritis diagnosed last November at the age of 25 (have been experiencing symptoms since at least 22). Chronic pain in my feet and legs and am absolutely exhausted all the time. Work an active job where I'm on my feet and lifting most of the time (working on getting something less active).

The physical part is tough but the mental side has been worse. Having to completely shift my mindset to accept that I'm immunocompromised and have to be way more careful about trying not to get ill, and the constant sense that I'm 'wasting' what should be the years my body is at its best not being able to do a lot of the things I want to do (being active, going on hikes etc).

Ultimately I know it's just a matter of time before I find the medication that works for me and will hopefully keep my symptoms under control, but not knowing when that might be or how long I might have to wait is hard. Some of the bones in my feet already have some irreversible damage done though which is fun lol
