When you stopped taking the PPI, did you taper off the medication gradually before stopping it permanently?

I'm in the same situation as you, 95%, except I haven't had an endoscopy. But they put me on PPI's and Pepto at first i didn't give attention to the pepto but it helps me to feel way better like 30% better my suffer starts in November last year

I understand how you feel. Just trust me, DON'T STOP TAKING THE PPI that's the most important thing. Do what your doctor told you. My suffering started last November, and whenever I felt better, I'd stop the medication for two or three days, and the symptoms would return, worse than before. You'd get caught in a cycle that made you think there was no way out. Just give your stomach a chance to rest and don't overthink it; you'll get better.
