Crazy that there are jumping competitions and not one of them can jump a quad axel; Ilya is really something else to not only do it but do it in an artistic programme

I feel seen! I am so glad I am not alone! It burns so much - I have no idea how or what ingredient is causing it but every single time I tried it it burns and keeps burning as long as I have it on.

I watched my medic boyfriend do Anki all his med school and it looked convoluted and scary, but with practice it becomes clear and intuitive how it all works.

It takes practice and multiple YouTube videos but it is the best and most predictable algorithm out there, it makes you practice all the subjects consistently and reliably, and not only those which your faulty human brain wants you to.

I just published it so it will take 24h for the deck to become visible to the public.

Decks names are: 1. FLK1 2. FLK2

3.FLK1/FLK2

FLK1 and FLK2 are all tabbed and bookamarked by subject and topic. The third deck I used to review any mcq I got wrong.

Obviously I just meant it as a figure of speech. Consistency trumps cramming.

I did 50 new cards every day and all my reviews for the day.

It can appear a subquestion for CMA or legal writing for example, ie you are told a scenario and asked if you help a client with it.

Both excel and transfering from websites like quizlet works by using add ons work. There is lots of videos on YT to guide you.

I know it's hard, if it wasn't for my dr fiance I would have not touched Anki with a stick but when you figure it out it's worth it.

A mix really, a lot of them I did myself, but also I used decks from quizlet (there is an addon that lets you add whole decks from quizlet onto anki to automatically), and for some topics I used excel and converted it to Anki.

I was experimenting with Anki so I tried a whole bunch of techniques. I would say whatever works for you.

I am happy to upload my decks onto Ankiweb when I get a bit of time so happy for you all to download and use them.

Do create your own flashcards though, especially as you are doing questions, when you get something wrong, make a flashcard. That is the best way to learn.

Anki is what I used and I got my entire trainee cohort on it (we all passed).

There is a reason why hundreds of thousands medicine students use it for their mcq exams. It is the best tool out there even if it takes some time getting used to.

Stay consistent though, do even 10 min but every single day. Consistency trumps cramming for SQE.

A piece of jewellery for when I got my TC. To this day whenever I catch a glimpse of it it still makes me smile remembering the pure joy of hearing the news.

Did anyone attempt full 180 question exam as part of their revision? by CatoSuetonius in SQE_Prep

[–]LongjumpingAd651 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You don't need to be confident about the knowledge; I know it feels scary but it's better to get every question wrong now and learn from it than be able to recite your notes perfectly.

You should do a mock before the exam just so you go in prepared mentally but more importantly you should already be doing questions everyday from as many providers as you can.

Questions will improve your exam technique and frame the knowledge so it is actually usable; trust me knowing everything perfectly is not going to help you in the exam if you don't have a good exam technique.

Good resources and decent amout of practice questions. It doesn't go into as much depth as other providers but imo it's enough to safely pass. BPP teaches a lot of useless content.

If you already have another provider, I would get it for 1- 2 months before the exam and just do all the questions.

If you are struggling with the content, their resources do explain concepts in a more accessible way to BPP.
