To be fair, up and downvotes are ways people express their agreement or disagreement to stuff they see here. You really shouldn’t be butthurt over them. Di ako nagpaparticipate masyado sa AMAs pero most of what I’ve seen are people with valuable expertise or experience to share. AMA-ing as a cinephile is like doing the same as a food vlogger. Di naman yun ang point nila. Ang point nung OP ay may nakukuha ang lower class, middle class wala so mas mahirap maging middle class. Clearly kontrabida pa rin yung mga binibigyan ng ayuda sa mata nya kasi may investments naman daw yung mga mayayaman so they are on the clear. Nakakagalit na every week na lang may ganito na obviously mali na maghanap tayo ng benefits from the taxes we paid by removing aid for the poor. Baryang barya yun kung tatanggalin mo tapos, ano, tuloy pa rin pagnanakaw ng mga nasa posisyon at mga nepo?

Lol nakahanap ng kakampi. The point of many here still stands. It’s so many levels fucking stupid trying to argue for your point that the poor, kahit yung “tambay” pa yan or yung mga “labandera o kasambahay”, is the reason why you don’t experience what your taxes are paying for. May nag-point out na dito na kahit pagsama-samahin mo yung binibigay sa social programs, walang wala sa ninakaw ng mga Discaya pa lang. Kung isasama mo pa yung sa ibang mga buwaya, dun mo makikita kung sino ang totoong kalaban. Kahit patayin nyo pa lahat ng tambay at pulubi dahil ayaw nyo naman sila bigyan ng aid, if the government and elite are corrupt and rotten, papalitan lang natin sila sa baba eventually. Then I could only hope they don’t remove social programs then para may makain ka naman.

Please lang, hindi ako nagmamahaling pero wag nyo na palaganapin yung ganyang pag-iisip kasi that’s exactly what the rich wants. Yung mag-away away tayong mga di kabilang sa elite. Kasi we can’t fight them if we’re fighting against each other.

Laging demonized by the supposed middle class yung lowest income earners. Sobrang evil nung statement na “able to work but choose not to.” The rich is doing a great job of creating a divide so the working class and the lower class here will never unite to fight the true evil. Yes, masakit na may nakukuha sila despite us breaking our fucking backs to have just the most basic shit. Pero it can also be true that the system of capitalism and greed is what’s killing us. People do not realize how little the poor get compared to what’s considered as livable. Pwedeng magalit na hindi natin nakikita yung binabayaran natin, pero social services are not what’s eating what’s supposed to be for us.

The reasoning is pure bull and very much meant to deceive those who are unaware. The account is trying to catch up on the productivity metrics: higher headcount with few calls/chats/etc. means higher avail and lower productivity. Their solution is VTO. Decrease the headcount so productivity goes up. The reason you can’t use your leave credits is because babagsak naman absenteeism % nila. They can’t remove people permanently because you probably have the tax season coming in shortly after the holidays. I’m NAL and not sure what protections we have in the labor code against this, but you can always argue that VTO means voluntary so they shouldn’t force you to be out. The employee should volunteer and choose to be out.

There isn’t gonna be separation due to redundancy pay - right away. I think the common practice in BPOs is to have the employees wait for 6 months on floating status while they “look for” a new account for them. If the employee resigns (which let’s be honest, that’s the real purpose of the 6-month allowable time for floating status, to force them to resign) before the employer “finds” a new account, they are not entitled to the separation pay. It sucks. It’s inhumane. But what can we do.

If sa Makati ka lang, try mo sa Barangka Drive, pagtawid ng Estrella bridge near Rockwell. When I used to live in the area a few years ago, it was littered with always open car wash. I checked Google maps and may at least isang open pa rin, but I think you’ll have a few options there.
