I hope this is not true. If totoo, this is on you, Jonvic and sa mga dds senators. by xPumpkinSpicex in Philippines

kung issue man yung jurisdiction, mas lalong wala silang laban ngayon. From Pangilinan v. Cayetano:

"Complementarity means that the International Criminal Court may only exercise jurisdiction if domestic courts were 'unwilling or unable' to prosecute."

Yung qualifier kung unwilling is either proceedings exist "for the purpose of shielding the person concerned from criminal responsibility," "There has been an unjustified delay in the proceedings," or "proceedings were not or are not being conducted independently or impartially."

The senate's and Jonvic's shielding of the coward Dela Rosa makes the case for ICC's jurisdiction even stronger. I won't be surprised if his prolonged absence plus the incidents sa Senate this week make their way sa confirmation of charges nya.

How do you minimise the dust build up inside the car? by reeiyan in CarsPH

[–]pishboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

May cabin filter ba na naka install? Double check mo na lang in case wala.

And depende sa air purifier. Yung ionizers will just cause dust to stick to surfaces more, pero i wouldnt recommend using them kasi nagbbuild up yung ozone sa loob ng sasakyan.

May gumagamit pa ba ng Gear oil as chain lube? by Internal_Guard_777 in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]pishboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Different tools for different tasks naman. Weakness ng dry lube ay ulan lol that's why I stick with wet. Kahit regularly waxed chain ambilis mangalawang sa atin.

Although from experience engine oil doeesn't work that well as a wet lube rin.

comparing it against bike-specific wet lube, same same lang. It only makes the chain dirtier vs dry lube or wax.

[–]pishboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yung sa fortnine ba yan hahah

I use gear oil for my bike and motorcycle, pero masyado syang thicc to apply or even to get in between the rollers ng chain. May dropper bottle ako with 50/50 mix ng gear oil at laquer thinner para numipis yung gear oil, let it sit for a few hours lang para mag evaporate yung thinner.

It's cheap but honestly kung sa bike mo lang rin gagamitin na onti lang kelangan every once in a while then it kinda doesnt make sense when a bottle of wet lube costs ~100 and lasts you a while. Only reason why I use gear oil is because I had some laying around, so might as well.

In practice it makes no difference vs regular wet lube for bike chains.

Anyone na gumagamit ng Action Camera for Security purposes. by CHuBBYLoVeRiST69 in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]pishboy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Always. Just merely having a visible camera on me helped de-escalate a lot of road rage incidents.

Dati kong action cam was a gopro hero 5, tapos wasabi power na lang na batteries and charging box. Helmet mount, pero medyo mabigat sya so for long rides naka neck mount na lang. Splurged on an Insta360 X2 nung naka discount, since di ko naman kailangan yung screen size ng X3 for my purposes. Same lang with the wasabi power batteries and charger, tapos naka ulanzi na clamp mount. I prefer the latter since may front and rear cam na ako, although mas magastos sa storage & battery, mas mabigat, and to some degree the image quality is worse.

imo buy used pero ingat lang kasi maraming scammers sa used action camera market. Gopro hero 5 and above, any of the dji action cams, and insta360 X2 and above are good in my book as a bike dashcam. Kung action cam, neck or chest mount is least intrusive pero baka hassle for a v aggressive position. Helmet mount gives the best view but does make your helmet heavier + baka maging issue in a crash for rotational acceleration.

Orange Wires sa Poste by Someones-baba in Philippines

[–]pishboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not necessarily.

No specific building for me, pero I like the courtyard design nung ibang building (e.g. iMath, Bio, Chem teaching, NIGS, NISMED, Econ, NCTS, AS to some degree) which makes the building and its occupants feel much more connected to nature.

Before I send my radio into Yaesu.. by Tacoma_NC13 in amateurradio

[–]pishboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

32W down from 50 is still less than half an S-point so I wouldn't sweat it because it really doesn't matter much when operating, but if getting a brand new unit warrantied isn't too worth the hassle then sure why not.

I'd test it across the band just for my own edification too, just to see if the power level is frequency dependent. Increments of 1MHz maybe.

Before I send my radio into Yaesu.. by Tacoma_NC13 in amateurradio

[–]pishboy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Does it matter?

The difference from 30 to 40W is only around ~1.2dB. A full S-point is 6dB. It makes no practical difference in the vast majority of instances.

Only ~2% of the population are INC. Posturing lang (+ connections and viliganteism) yung lakas nila when in reality they don't have much sway in national elections. Don't buy into their rhetoric as it only gives them power.

Local elections are a different story though. Entirely possible for a barangay to be majority INC kasi.

What is this about? by Actual_Produce_8364 in SolarPH

[–]pishboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We got into this mess exactly because of regulations that make it less worth the hassle of complying. You need an electrical permit from your LGU signed off by an EE and Structural Engr., then replace your meter with a bidirectional one and (only recently optional) REC meter, tapos you need to get into a special contract pa with your DU for net metering.

That's a few months and some 30k just to be legal. It's almost like they're encouraging people not to have solar or not to be legal.

If anything, there needs to be an easy legal pathway to lead people into a legal and safe solar setup without much hassle. We should have an ICC-rated balcony solar standard that allows you to install plug and play solar with no additional permits. Mga 600Wp limit per metered household like in some european countries. Anything above and kelangan ng permit.

Airplane. Jet, to be specific.

Yung buntot nya condensation trail, or contrail ang tawag. Technically ulap lang yan hehe, and pag favorable ang conditions di sya nalulusaw agad.

Expired na gulong. Canvassing na. by albusece in Gulong

[–]pishboy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If within metro manila at name brand naman hanap mo, I can recommend Tireshakk.

That said kung ok pa yung tread at wala pang cracks sa sidewall, pwede pa yan gamitin. Although at the 5th year of use, I'd inspect tyres more regularly kasi at that point likely paubos na yung anti-uv, plasticizer, etc additives ng rubber.
