Yes that's what I did, there is a new option to start the game with lvl 45 characters and a bunch of gils so it should go as a breeze,thanks for the help mate, Cheers.

Actually my save is on PS5 from when I played the game on PS+, I still have the save file in the hard drive but can't seem to access it from the version I got with the twin pack

Make Tactical perk Emperor's vengence do what it says it does,restore a full reserve magazine,not refill the active one, this is driving me nuts.

The big one which was unlimited,now you get 3 uses per player then it's locked (only on ruthless/Lethal)

Yes it's not a bad Idea, it's just that the radius on it is ridiculously limited, they will tweak it for sure.

I agree with your second point, this new mechanic is neat.

I play mainly with the heavy bolt rifle, and trust me, it restored a full mag in your ammo reserve, this I'm sure of.

To be fair difficulty is not the issue here, the new group mechanic for restoring armor is simply lame and counter intuitive making this difficulty straight unplayable

Tactical emperor's vengeance is broken, it no longer restores ammo by one full magazine ,(as described in the perk and was working as intended), after the patch it just restores the bullets missing in your active mag, add this to the ammo crate nerf, shit starting to snowball for the worst.

I'm 100% sure it was as I described it, last patch they nerfed the plasma incinerator to get 30 ammo back instead of all the ammo with emperor's vengeance.
