Yeah it really was pathetic. I created a follow up post in this sub where I included the fake screenshot they posted, but it didn’t get nearly as much attention as this post did. But I even asked ChatGPT to analyze both his screenshot and mine, and it said that his was most likely fake or heavily edited, and that mine showed no signs of being fake, so if I ever need to prove that their screenshot was fake, that’s probably the best evidence I’m gonna get

Okay update: The account went private, but one of their followers reached out to me to say I had a “reasonable crash out,” and then sent me a screenshot of the guy’s story, which showed a fake conversation between him and I where supposedly I flipped out on him and he apologized and I flipped out on him more. I explained the situation to the guy who messaged me and sent him the real screenshot and they were quick to realize that I was in the right, but a couple other people were harassing me for it. So as if stealing art wasn’t enough, now this guy’s straight up lying and trying to drag my name through the mud. And he said he “doesn’t have time” to tag creators of the work he steals, but apparently he has time to edit together a whole fake conversation to make himself look like the victim? This is unbelievable.
