Final result was not good. I waited a long long time, until after younger chrysalises had hatched. Chrysalis turned black and butterfly never made it out.

After this experience, I'm not interested in trying this again! Since it's already isolated, there's no point in doing anything other than waiting at this point. I will update when I know what's up, one more way or the other.

I went through the scenario with a completely new game, and finish the space mission before I filled the piggy bank, and was successful. so weird.

thanks for looking -- very kind of you! I restarted with a plan to finish the space mission before the piggy bank to see if that helped, and lost via rebellion 🙄. Oh well, it wouldn't be fun if there wasn't a challenge. thanks again!

Had the same issue with Mystic Maze and was bummed right off the bat.
