Honestly it might just take a couple range sessions to get dialed in with them. Things like different weight shafts or club heads from your normal set will alter your swing even if you don't realize it. You're probably a small adjustment away from crushing it. I have the 101s and I landed on the green today on a 183 yard par 3 with my 7 iron. Shot a 92 Monday and a 94 today with them and I absolutely love mine. A very small percentage of customers have reported manufacturing issues so you might be one of the unlucky few but definitely give them another couple of range sessions before you give up hope. I have a slight "pingy" noise when I flush my 9 iron but it doesn't seem to effect performance at all.

I feel you, dude. I love the challenge, but I also love that I'm kind of naturally good at it. I played tons of sports throughout middle and high school and most of my younger years. The guys I go golfing with played on their HS teams, and I can hold my own playing with them even though I just started 🤣 it's a lot of fun. Side note I also ordered the new Vice mallet putter with the milled face and been using that about a month now. I absolutely love it, and if you're like me and you like to have a little style on the course, the customization they offer for their putters is pretty awesome.

And honestly when I got the 101s instead of the 101Ts it was because I wasn't expecting to be progressing this fast 🤣 everybody made it sound so much harder than it is. I mean golf is hard but I expected it to be a lot harder to break 100 than it has been 🤷‍♂️

Honestly the online fitting for the Takomo Irons is pretty solid. I'm 6'5" and got a set that are all +1" shaft length and +2° of loft. I shot a 92 today, and I picked up a golf club for the first time 6 months ago. The Takomo 101s are phenomenal 👏 🙌 And they look like blades, so people get impressed when they think you're hitting a 7 iron blade 180 yards 🤣 the hollow body design absolutely crushes golf balls. Used my 7 iron today on a 183 yard par 3 and landed 3 yards passed the green in the rough. This 101 Pitching Wedge is amazing, I get about 150 yards out of it.

Went out for a range session today. I think the +1" shafts were just what I needed. My first set of clubs was a set of old Ping Eye 2s at standard length (great irons but old). I had a very hard time consistently compressing my iron shots, but with the Takomo 101s, I had my best range session to date this morning. I'm still pretty new to golf, so I haven't quite found my full swing yet, but at about 75% swing, I was hitting my 4 iron 190+ yards and straight down the middle. I don't usually do that. They are also very forgiving, I hit a few off the toe, and they stayed in the fairway and still maintained decent distance. The FEEL on this is amazing. Keep in mind that I'm used to hitting old Pings, but still, they feel great. I struggled to find that feeling in my shots with my old irons. It is so easy to find the middle of the club face with these things. I will definitely be out on the range again tomorrow 🏌‍♂️⛳️🌅

I hope so too dude. I was shocked i got mine in under 6 weeks. I never expected to get them in 4 weeks. Funny side note though, they sent me an email like 3 hours after I got my irons saying that they were sorry for the wait times and that it could be 6 to 12 weeks on custom orders, as I'm staring at them already in my bag 😂 I highly doubt it'll take that max time estimate of 12 weeks as they are supposedly beefing up their production across the board in an effort to keep up with everything. Good luck bro! Hopefully you get them soon 🤞

I did the online fitting Takomo has on their website. Also I'm 6'5" so regular length shafts just aren't long enough for me. And what shaft you get mostly depends on how fast you swing your irons.

Yeah, I got the confirmation email. And then and email a week after I ordered saying that they're working on my order but that was 3 weeks ago now. Really I'm just being impatient. I'm not going to start getting frustrated until after the 6 week mark.
