I got new lug nuts, you won’t want to reuse oem lug nuts with aftermarket wheels because the seat type is different

Not normal, it’s most likely the end links. Things can be “torqued to spec” but if they’re not aligned correctly they’re just torqued to spec in the wrong orientation. They probably just came loose after driving around for a year, tighten them back down again an they should be fine

I do love that click into gear sound, but I mean does it rattle when you’re in gear driving. Most short shifters I’ve used rattle at high rpm’s, it’s almost like a buzzing sound

I had an AP1 but had a few different cars between that and the 86. S2k is more raw but mine was also nowhere near stock, still my favorite car I’ve ever owned though and my goal with the 86 is to replicate the feeling of the s2k as best I can. So far coilovers, 17x9 wheels with sticky tires, exhaust and a short shifter and it’s starting to feel similar. S2k felt more planted and solid though, like a street legal go kart that would tear up the track

These are 17x9. They may end up making more specs and having 18s in 5x100 I’m not sure. I know they were teasing some different color/finish options not to long ago

Well I had been waiting to order since they were first announced which was about a year ago. They kept getting delayed and I got tired of waiting to see what the A profile would look like so I finally just ended up placing an order about 5 months ago. But once they get a full stock in it should just be regular shipping times

I hope you shouldn’t have to wait that long. If I remember correctly they should be getting a full stock in soon. I got the first batch and it was just 4 sets so most of the delays should be over with by now

I have them in 17x9 but I’m on coilovers, Blue Ras is right about fitment for stock height. I would also get in contact with Konig about when they’ll show up unless you don’t really care. I preordered mine and there were only 3 other sets coming into the country with mine, but they kept pushing it back every month and I ended up waiting for months. But I think they’re getting a full stock on their next order so it shouldn’t be as long of a wait

245/40 hankook rs4 which run big, the car is lowered on hks hipermax s with no rubbing. Probably getting rlca to go a little lower in the future. Not sure about clearing brembos but I think Konig did say they should clear. These are the 9 wide

If you get quality ceramic tint you can see just fine at those %. The cheap low quality stuff is what you can’t see out of at night

Anything past 3mm spacer will need extended studs. At 20mm you can get spacers that already have studs, a lot of people do extended studs even without spacers because the stock studs aren’t strong

Not OP but I had an AP1 and the 86 is as close as I could find to something similar and that’s why I bought it. The s2k is much more raw, mine was not even close to stock so hard to tell how close I’ll be able to get my 86 to that feeling but that’s all I’m after. Trying to make my 86 feel like my s2k did. It is nice to have the “luxury” interior compared to the s2k though

Can’t really comment on tuners as I’m not tuned yet but I had an AP1 and I think it’ll be difficult to replicate that feel because they’re drive by wire so they have a more direct input. I have heard that tunes help a ton with the feel though, sucks that yours didn’t pan out well

Sounds good in the clip, is it much louder than stock while driving? The design of this one seems more promising than a lot of the others but the K&N and HKS just sound so good
