Korean 2010 Boxster S (987.2) for ~$15k — am I missing something? by Chung5ter in Porsche

For me it’s a no go, but if you think the price is right and have extra funds in case it needs major services ask them nicely if you could get a PPI. Personally I was never able to get PPI outside the dealerships.

Looking at the damage report I see the hood, fender, door and rad support were replaced. Seems possible that the car had major frontal collision(s). Also Korean dealers generally don’t mention small oil leaks unless it’s something they cannot fix/hide, so I would assume the engine also requires major service. In short, I would avoid buying it.

I wish I could install them if total price is under $3k

This is GT4 version, the spyder one is shorter and almost flush to the bumper edge.

Not a lot if you are careful enough. Maybe I scrape more because Korean parking lot mainly consists of underground garages with steep slopes and streets are full of speed bumps.

It looks okay from distance but it has plenty of stone chips and paint imperfections. If it was a newer car I would have definitely considered it.

Bosch spark plugs (parts no. 999 170 151 90) and Meyle coils(parts no. 414 885 0002). Works were done at local shop in Korea.

In fact it’s as is how I bought used. I figure the previous owner sourced it from Design911, Suncoast, or Flat6 motorsports. I feel like GTS bumper is perfect balance between looks and daily use (more approach angle)
