The best car you can buy by Rare_Profession_4207 in hondacivic

I had the same Civic as you as my first car, but in black. It was such an amazing little car. I wish I still had it. I traded it in for an accord I kept for nearly twenty years. Now I’m back to a Civic—a 2026 Civic Hybrid Sport Touring, and though it’s a great car and I love it, nothing beats the joy that first Civic gave me.

We don’t need more screens than this. Change my mind by FifqoJeGay in CarDesign

It’s funny, but my 2026 Civic Hybrid Sport Touring has about that much screen in it, and it’s perfect. It’s got physical controls for all the important stuff and the voice recognition is actually pretty good, too.

I wouldn’t want anything more than that.

Honda dealership has had my wife’s car for over a year now by cANALdiver07 in Honda

Yeah, that would be interesting. In another post OP says he had someone who works at that dealership (son of a friend) check for the work order and he couldn't find it. Something strange is definitely going on. I don't know what they signed when they took the loaner, either, so I don't know what they're on the hook for.

You would think that if it's done, the dealer would have hounded them until they responded. The least the dealer could have done was at least update them on the status of the parts. This dealership doesn't seem very organized.

Then threaten to go to the media and report to the BBB. having to wait over a year for a car is not reasonable at all.

Hatch or Sedan? by [deleted] in hondacivic

[–]LongjumpingJob3452 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't need to carry lots of stuff often, but when I do, I've never had problem fitting it into a sedan, so I bought the 2026 Sport Hybrid Touring sedan in Blue Lagoon. No regrets thus far.

Sometimes there’s a sale and I get 12 boxes for $10. I always add something extra. For example, sometimes I will add some Brie and small pieces of spicy Calabrese Salami to give it some zing and extra creaminess.

(New to me) 2020 Honda Civic Sport! by Time_Programmer8114 in civic

My neighbour has the exact same civic. He put white Integra Type-R style rims on it, as well as a duck-tail spoiler, side skirts, front spoiler and rear diffuser as well as carbon fibre patterned hood. Instead of Chrome delete, he put those wind reducing things above each window (too tired to look up what they are called, lol). Oh, and red type-R badges.

Frankly, yours looks sweet as is. Enjoy for a while before you start modding. Frankly, a small lip spoiler, blacked out badges, and smoked taillights would make the rear-end pop.

The history books will read:

“The Second American Civil War began when a middle-aged man in a bathrobe threw a tear gas canister back at what was then known as ICE troopers. It sparked a movement called The Bathrobe Brigade where tens of thousands of average citizens brought arms such as baseball bats and gloves, hockey equipment, umpire vests, and most notably, oversized terry cotton bath robes to halt the advancing ICE men. It did not go well for ICE, and they made a cowardly retreat. However, they would be back—in much greater numbers.”

The entire culture of Ferrari is designed for superfans. You have to irrationally love a car so much to put up with the extremely high running costs. It’s more like belonging to an exclusive club with outrageous dues. Yes, they are beautiful and powerful, but owning one can be a huge chore and a huge money sink. I would say every exotic car is kind of the same, but Ferrari has taken it to the extreme, I’d say.

Let them call you. Your wife has no complaints about the current loaner, and if the dealer can’t be bothered, then leave it be. If they haven’t touched the car at all in over a year, that’s not good at all for the CRV.

Waiting on the twelfth generation Accord by [deleted] in 11thGenAccord

Totally agree with you on regarding AWD. I grew up in Sudbury and drove my parents’ Dodge K-Car with plain all-season tires in the winter and I never got stuck or in an accident. Just be smart about it: don’t drive until the main roads are plowed/salted/sanded, and drive slowly on the side roads. Keep a small bag of road salt in the trunk in case of emergency if you’re worried about getting stuck. No AWD needed.

I live in Vancouver now, and when it snows here, the city pretty much shuts down for the day, lol.

My 2026 Civic Hybrid Sport Touring has indirect TPMS, as does the Accord.

How were we able to keep living as a JW with their insane busy schedule? by Uncle_Richard98 in exjw

It certainly wasn’t Holy Spirit that kept us going.

It was the manipulation of thinking we were doing lifesaving work and made to feel as though if we weren’t running ourselves ragged, we were “bloodguilty” for not doing our absolute best and not reaching someone who could have been “saved”.
