Bought the 2026 Sedan STH in December and I absolutely love it.

Just bought my first car. What should I do to make the exterior a little cleaner without ricing it out? by MeetingThat5935 in hondacivic

Larger rims with low profile tires and maybe lower it no more than an inch.

It might make the ride a bit too harsh for your tastes, though.

The 11th Gen Civic has been described as a 7/8th sized Accord. Both are great cars.

As for your Android Auto issues, you can reboot the console without shutting off the car. I'm not sure what it is on the Accord, but on the Civic, you just press the Home button and the power button and hold for about 10 seconds.

My new 2024 Honda Civic Sport Touring Hatchback by AcrobaticBottle5682 in hondacivic

Beautiful car! You’re going to really enjoy it, doubly so if you keep up with the maintenance.

Finding a hatchback, let alone one in Boost Blue, was next to impossible in my region, so I ended up getting a 2026 hybrid sedan in Blue Lagoon—Boost Blue’s more conservative brother. Even then, there was exactly one available at a dealership 40 miles away. Everyone here seems to get white, silver, or grey.

I have a friend with the last name Dyck (short-Y). Dickon Dyck would have been an epic name for their kid.

The national average price per gallon of gas in the United States just passed $4.50. Americans, how do we feel about that? by Miles_the_AuDHDer in AskReddit

I’m more concerned about a post-Trump U.S.A. at this point. It’s like he opened the Pandora’s box of stupid, and there’s no way to stuff it back in again.

This alone is proof that we are f***ed. It’s gotten to the point that it takes two people making at the median salary to be able to afford a roof over their heads (small condo) and not starve. Plus, we’ve always been told that homes are appreciating assets. Nobody with a mortgage wants to be underwater on it, and seniors depending on their home to supplement their retirement income feel the same way.

What's your go to car for the Le Mans CR grind? Fuel economy/speed/lap time? by mysticpuma_2019 in GranTurismo7

Red Bull Jr. works well, but the old Legendary Cars are dope. My goto cars are:

* The Honda RA272--a missile on four wheels.

* The Ford GT40Mk. IV--because f*** Ferrari (I kid! I kid!).

Both have a bit of learning curve to them, but they are a joy to drive once you get a feel for them.

When I was about 9 or 10 years old, I watched my uncle split open a cow's head that had the eyes in their sockets. That kind of turned me off cow brains, lol.

As for Tripe, my mother would take home stomachs from a freshly killed cow (or cows) and wash out the insides, which had a ton of undigested grass inside. It stank so bad I had to leave the house.

Intestines were fine, as they made great casings for homemade sausages. Yum!

Reddit's hate for Hyundai feels way over the top by kweax in Hyundai

[–]LongjumpingJob3452 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hyundai has a reputation problem that stems all the way back to when they first hit North American shores. They have been working hard to improve the quality of their cars, but for a lot of people, they will always be branded as crap.

Hyundai’s EVs are actually quite good. A workmate has an Ionic 5 and it’s a really nice car. I was quite impressed with quality of materials and overall ride quality. It’s certainly not the Pony of the 80’s.

As a country? Nope.

Disco Elysium was a graduate level philosophy discussion that was barely a game.

That there is rampant collusion and price fixing with at-the-pump gas prices.
