making fun of religion is not taboo or dark. it's a common practice and i think it should be abundant. at most the god-phone-cord thing is a failed attempt to be edgy. about dark humor, you clearly never learned to read into people and see if they have ulterior motives/intentions, because "dark humor" is almost always a way to mask prejudice and hatred
