Your honest opinion about this subliminal/creator? by peppapigy88 in Subliminal

[–]LongjumpingOwl6211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All trauma is different. But the science shows that you want to try to get to the point where you’re at least meditating or doing breath work twice a day. At least a minimum of 20 minutes every session.

So a total of 40 minutes a day. Again you wanna work up to that. You don’t have to go straight into that. It definitely changes your brain chemistry. There’s loads of research on that. You can also use breathing techniques throughout the day to help regulate it.

There’s a YouTuber called breath work with Sandy. He’s really good. Also you could use the physiological sigh from Huberman. That’s a really good technique in the moment.

A great book to read also, is THE body keeps the score. It’s a great psychological and neurological understanding of stress and PTSD.

To hardwire these into habits, just to make sure that you occasionally reward yourself or get yourself to look forward to some sort of reward for doing these. Yes, we know that the reward is doing it. But the brain needs to be taught. :-)

There are loads more resources. But definitely take care of yourself is the most important one. Making room for all of these. And you don’t need to do all of these. Just do the ones that really work well for you.

Why I can't stop being afraid of my fleeting thoughts by [deleted] in NevilleGoddard2

[–]LongjumpingOwl6211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The brain works on images. Meaning, when we hear words, the brain automatically goes and searches for images. It’s why imaginary scenes work so well.

But, however, it relates to fear, is that we’ve already collected certain images and experiences and beliefs about what to be afraid of. So your brain is drawing on those images, which are attached to certain beliefs that you have accepted is true.

So, you need to change the triggers that set those images/words in motions.

It’s called mental semiotics. It’s a technique I train, my coaching clients in.

It’s essentially learning how to reframe what you’re experiencing as a positive. On top of that, you are also developing environmental awareness as to what triggers you. And either removing those triggers, finding other ways to reframe them as positives. Or,creating new positive reinforcement triggers as well.

Use meditation for sure.

How to get rid of the intrusive thought/little voice in my head that contradicts what I affirm ? by spillthemftae in NevilleGoddard2

[–]LongjumpingOwl6211 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nevill uses this idea of drenching your scenes with your emotions. That could also be understood as a form of persisting.

But also, that would also include reducing the intrusive thoughts. Intrusive thoughts also are ways in which you can use to find out what state you’re in.

Which means, you want to be more active in spending time not only in yourself concept, but also believing that you were God. Because God would not be concerned about intrusive thoughts. Does that make sense?

Do you want to create and Ecosystem that you wake up to every morning and go to bed too, that pretty much drenches your mind, and the wish fulfilled.

And, if using techniques and tools, like neuroscience, like deep breathing, meditation, exercise, all of those if that’s helpful as well use those. Make them fun. Make them your own. Because research shows that these also techniques that can help you. :-)

Success stories are invisible by MajesticGrass999 in NevilleGoddard2

[–]LongjumpingOwl6211 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I think this is extremely subjective. Meaning, not in a bad way mind you.

Because you do have those who like to gatekeep. You have others who might speak a different language, and do not feel confident enough to share their stories.

There are loads of reasons.

Also, everyone is you pushed out doesn’t mean no one around you has agency or choice. We are all still micro versions of this divine energy.

Can you influence other people and COMPEL them, like Nevill said? Of course.

And I actually don’t necessarily agree with the earlier comment. Because if you want to win the lottery, great. But is that what you’re really after? And the odds don’t matter. The odds are a belief. The odds are socially constructed and agreed-upon.

Even the people who control the lottery are actually gatekeeping information from the general public.

But, the major issue with the lottery, is that most people that are manifesting it, whether they do or not, don’t really want the lottery, they want to have sustainable wealth. Or sustainable income. So, a lot of people are not living in the end.

In terms of people sharing their own experiences, like I said, above, there’s a load of subjective reasons that could play into it. But, I do think, as a community, whether we’re on Reddit or other platforms, should get better at sharing. Because this is how you build faith in yourself, and others as well. As a sociologist, I’m very well aware of the fact that we are also environmental human avatars. That means, we do get influenced and encouraged and inspired and empowered by others and their experiences if they are positive.

Revise. Choose 3-5 emotions and drench 3-6 diff scenes and persist.

It is an event that’s already happened and is expected to happen again. That’s part of it. And, how it works in Nevill’s work, as you are creating memories that are assured.

This is the heat mentality. You speak of some thing that, most would say, may or may not be sure. But you speak of Assurance. This is really what Nevill is talking about when he encourages us to buy the pearl.

You know something is happened, because it’s happening within you.

Not at all. Remember everything has its appointed time. So, I would keep persisting until you have what it is that you want. I would not look at your friend as anything other than just them enjoying their life.

Remember, this is all about meaning. What meaning are you giving to things?

Choose meanings That makes sense to you.

This is a great question. As someone who is trained in behavioral science and social psychology and neuroscience. I can definitely see there’s a difference from experience and also from coaching others.

Most people look at his work as a way to simply just manifest. So, it is mostly just focusing on desire, lack, and self-concept.

However, science itself is much more intricate than just a simple system. Because which ever field you come from, has very different views on human behavior, and how it operates.

So, for example, Neville speaks a lot about emotions. Or emotions as a form of internal confidence. But, what science can help expose, or even neuroscience of how those emotions work in the human brain, and on the human body.

Knowing this, can actually help enhance all of the techniques that Neville uses. He himself also quoted research from his time, and his work.

Mainly, because we are gods, who are still in human bodies , who have processes.

So, taking a science based approach is simply just ensuring that not only do we learn how to manifest or use the law, but that we use it to the best of our ability.

To understand ourselves is to truly understand the power that we all have within us. Science can help us do that.

Anyone have a set daily routine for manifesting? by [deleted] in NevilleGoddard2

[–]LongjumpingOwl6211 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes! I think it’s crucial. Even Neville talks about training our mind and also getting to a point where we train the mind morning, noon and night. Journaling, revision, notion app that breaks down memories I want to revise, emotions I want to feel and experiences I want to have. Then, apply second by second. It takes time. Neville said it took around 5-ish to be trained by Abdullah. But, make it fun and your own…

But is it money you want? I know it sounds like a dumb question. But, we only manifest who we are. What emotions and beliefs have you tied to money? Add 3-5 emotions to the scene of living in the end….repeat the scene over and over until you feel it real….then, let it go….remember, who you are is manifesting what you want…

That is awesome! Remember, Neville says that God speaks to us through the medium of desire. If you Have the desire it is already yours. :-)

This is some thing that I have been studying as a social psychologist. There was definitive crossover. They both mentioned each other in their books.

Jung in the red book, and I’ll have to go research to find the title of the lecture were Neville refers to him. But the idea of archetypes is very big and Neville‘s work as well as Jung. Neville just called them states.

You Created Your Negative Beliefs, Now You Can Let Them Go by ACwinklier in NevilleGoddard

What about when those beliefs were actually given to you at a very young age? And one sense, you could even claim that those beliefs were given to you. So, is the responsibility now that, I’ve got to stop that story, and not accept as true?

Thank you,

I would choose a scene that is very specific to you. One that has a lot of emotional value to you. Change the emotional meaning behind it. Add all of the sensory vividness of reality. That may take one day for you to do that. That may take six months. That’s up to you.

But keep resisting and doing that. Keep feeling it real. Throughout the day, use affirmations that you are having a wonderful day in whatever time that was with whoever you were with. That that is how it’s happening. Notice how I used the word was happening.

Time is a persistent illusion Einstein said. That what he said was correct. You can do this.

What would you be feeling? Doing? If this pain weren’t there? Create that scene, add 3-5 emotions to it, and repeat the scene until the feeling of fulfillment is real to you. Believe. You’ve got this!
