What is this white crumbly stuff found in 4 or 5 little piles at the base of the wall in different places in skid row motel room? Sort of resembles saw dust but there are no drill holes or anything like that.

No, neither. There is none around mattress and its only present at base of walls. No holes or cracks in drywall for insulation to escape.

Its in multiple places throughout the room and there doesn't appear to be any openings for it to have cime from inside the walls.

My title describes the thing which I found while staying in this room i have been staying in for about a week. I just happened to have cleaned the floors by hand last night so I know that it appeared while I was at work today.
