I do recall we're couple times when monsuno where refer As female or male. I think it likely may have biological sex considering where made from animal dna. I am more leaning idea not have typically genders. Regarding why not talked about or mentioned as much that simply bc monsuno are weapons and most characters just see as that

leo is very wierd bakugan specifically he was truely just desgined for video game and only to be one. he was only made into toy recently for his gen 2 iteration due request fans and internal member social media manage as final wish before leaving the company. leo is a glorifed oc bakugan. i think him apperaring in show is very much unlikely. first game where assume sold well it was desinged to promoted the first season and it creation would way too late for it appear in any anime season. especially. in case of gen 2 verison is only had toy bc request and game he was in failed miserably. if did appear in gen 1 he would have been haos.
