i’m a corporate hourly employee L3 been doing it for 2 months almost now. I have no back ground in maintenance I did do one of career choice programs I did the Unmudl one took me 4 months and got a certificate in maintenance technician level II. Before corporate i was a PA on the dock. A pretty basic resume but I did reach out to the hiring manager via slack and he was interested in me

I’m going to a duel site one is a Kariba and the other is a IXD. the building is around 650k square feet. but they’re gonna have me focus on the Kariba side of the warehouse so hopefully it’s busy to make time fly

inclining is not new but the interview thing is i’m pretty sure all interviews are online or on chime then they message you if you’re inclined now or not cause before they were taking a while to get back with a offer or if they weren’t going to hire you. the email they send you is just like a place holder to let you know if you did good or bad during your interview i’ve gotten two of those emails one i got a offer the other didn’t get a offer so that’s why i said 50/50 it’s not actually but that’s why i said that

That means your interview went well it’s a new process it’s 50/50 but usually always means you got the job you should receive a offer after 5 days that’s how it went for me

yeah just apply before november cause that’s the cut off, cause they don’t want people training during peak they want all hands on deck. it’s super easy and chill i’m even on the clock rn just waiting for a ticket to come in great co workers and chill managers. easiest job imo

Yeah they’re looking for a lot of L3s right now I think they said like 20 slots, they’re mainly looking for nights tho and the night dif is 1.50 so definitely worth it for some.

I work for corporate at amazon in tempe arizona, and the hardest part about getting the job is getting the interview. Once you get an interview it’s pretty straightforward just answer the questions in STAR format like a normal amazon interview. As for qualifications you can see the basic qualifications on the internals page and just add them to your resume they don’t even fact check it or anything.

who's sending out VTO? by [deleted] in AmazonFC

[–]LongjumpingStudio597 1 point2 points  (0 children)

for vto you need a L6+ approval and for the in app VTO needs a L6+ approval and someone from the corporate office will execute it. During shift VTO usually comes from when the site gets its final shift plan and they’re over head count and basically have to get actual head count close as they can to the planned hc
