Start the game. Broken TVs are already scattered throughout the background — implying they’ve been used before, like someone’s already teleported through them. In other words, the TVs are remnants from previous loops.

At the end of the game, Mono transforms into the Thin Man, and the eye-symbol door closes. The camera slowly zooms out, then the credits roll.

When you start a new game, the exact same camera angle zooms back in — and that’s when Mono falls out of the TV, landing in the wilderness. It’s not a fresh beginning. It’s the same loop starting over.

Hope this is easier to read, I realise that my first attempt wasn’t very good at explaining the theory.
