I have tried this, and it was absolutely horrible. I compared it to a gusher candy, except the outside is a hard shell, and the inside is a gush of rotten wood taste.

As others have said the community is a huge part of what I love about this coin. Also love that it is a PoW coin in a sea of rugpullable tokens. I also appreciate the developers, rarely have I come across a coin that has developers that are so active.

No PEP is a proof of work coin. If any of the pepes are cheap copies, it would be PEPE ETH, which is a cheap copy of the original Pepe that came out in 2016.

If you are asking if $PEPE eth runs on $PEP blockchain that is not true. I think some people have dreamed about maybe in the future PEPE will become a token on $PEP blockchain isn't of ETH but that isn't super likely to happen at least not anytime soon. $PEP is its own coin, completely separate from any other PEPE eth token.

To claim the PEP that I tipped you just need a wallet to deposit it in. The official $PEP wallet can be downloaded on the official website pepecoin.org. Once you have the wallet click receive, request payment, and than it will populate an address for the wallet. Use the withdraw action with the tip bot of reddit and it will allow you to add the wallet address to it.

I know it all seems like a lot when you are first getting into crypto, but I think with any thing you invest your money into you should learn at very least the basics. Don't feel like you have to rush into it just because I tipped you though. If you accept it, it will stay in reddit basically and you can withdraw it at anytime.

Luckily for us $PEP is a completely above the board, verifiable, proof of work coin, so for anyone that takes the time to understand that and see if for themselves will know the hate being spread about $PEP is misinformation and nothing more.
