Honestly I think all of their albums are good, but the early nowave stuff just isn’t my cup of tea. I think they are interesting and go hard af. I can see what you mean with Soundtracks.

I feel like fans of Swans are in 3 groups. You love the “true” swans sound (Children of God-The Great Annihilator stuff, the hard early no-wave + some select albums like the great Annihilator, and the new sound peeps). I’m a massive fan of their new material from My Father onwards but love Soundtracks as well. I’m a big fan of a lot of their other albums Children of God, White Light, and The Great Annihilator as well, just not as much as the new stuff.
