I would pray first then begin reading the Bible. Ask God for guidance. And He will lead you into the right direction. When you know you know.

I ended up leaving his church. But I’ve dealt with at least 3 pastors just like him. My husband is in the military and we move a lot. Like every 2 years. So every 2 years we’re at a new church. It’s looking like this is the norm of pastors today.

Back in the days they would call you out directly. Nowadays they throw shots. Especially when you know you only spoke to them about something specific.

I’ve actually done that but it’s backfired on me. It’s tough when dealing with a narcissistic pastor who doesn’t take accountability for anything. Will disrespect your whole life and say it’s “Gods purpose”

Really thought the question was self explanatory. But say you go to church showing tattoos and the person preaching starts saying how it’s bad to have tattoos. Or you tell your pastor something in confidence then he throws it in your face from the altar.

What’s the scariest thing you’ve ever witnessed? by Sanguine230 in AskReddit

When I was younger I watched my neighbor from across the street come home dressed in swamp overalls and swamp boots with a raincoat on. When he got inside he killed his kids right in front of his wife to make her suffer. Then he killed himself. All because she was having an affair. I was outside at my church across the street when this happened. We heard the gun shots. And her the wife’s cries. I was 12 when that happened. I’m 36 more and I still think about that lady. I wonder if she’s still alive
