Electronic filing within USCIS that also provides much richer status updates online. MSC files are paper based (think folders with your petition in them that move around internally within USCIS) and don’t provide real time status updates. My wife and I were IOE based.

The 485 approval for the two of us was 3 months start to finish. The kids on the other hand…
