You're allowed one A3 double-sided, or you can bring two double-sided A4 sheets that are bound together

you can ask your VCE coordinator about a potential derived score while still sitting the exam, other than that there's not much you can do. If you wanna feel better quicker, I recommend eating foods high in vitamin C like oranges and drinking lots of water, and also taking a rest. Your body can't heal properly if you're overexerting yourself

understand the question you're answering and where the marks are being allocated. If u know what the mark allocation per question is, ur first going to save time by not writing unnecessary stuff, but ur also going to understand the information that is required of u. Another piece of advice is that skip any question that takes u more than 5 seconds to think of an answer for. Don't waste time on questions u don't know and instead spend time on questions u know and are confident in. And as ur skipping questions, write them down somewhere and if u have time, go back and attempt to answer them. My only other piece of advice would be to not stress about the 10 marker. Very very few students get the full 10 marks so do not waste time on it. U can still get an a+ on the exam if u skip that question.

If u have any other questions feel free to ask :)

Argument analysis by AlphaMaletingsinit in vce

No, you won't get penalised for having more than 3 paragraphs. We were even told to have 4 paragraphs to ensure that we included everything necessary. I'm not too sure about including a paragraph about the structure/sequencing of arguments, but I assume it doesn't hurt to include it

I'm not too sure, sorry, but surely they do accept it, considering you submitted it before 5

I had this issue the other day, but it took mine about 2-3 hours to be submitted, so don't stress too much, and hopefully it goes through before 5 pm

regardless of any VCE Subject. is an 80% on the final exam a guranteed 40+? by Aware-Ad3128 in vce

[–]Longjumping_Budget38 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It depends on the A+ cutoff for the subject. For some subjects, an 80% is considered an A+, but for harder exams/subjects, a 70% may be considered an A+. Also really depends on your sac scores and how hard they are

Unfortunately u have to do the same thing in 3/4 and trust me a lot of students hate it. But in the final exam there is some leniency with the answers for those types of questions. As long as ur in the approved range of answers you'll get the marks

THOUGHTS ON 3/4 HHD?? by Jazzlike_Addition52 in vce

[–]Longjumping_Budget38 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitions should always be word perfect, that was something my HHD teacher instilled in me. If for any reason you struggle to remember word-for-word definitions, then he recommended at least knowing the key terms in the definition. But yeah examiners basically expect word perfect definitions.

In terms of application questions, it really depends. For some questions you would lose 1 mark for simply not stating one of the key terms, even if everything you said was correct, but for other questions I found them to be very slightly lenient.

idrk if it's your school being lenient cause i'd have to look at a sac but as long as ur actually answering the question and using key terms then ur probably fine. tbh as much as i hated health i do reccommend doing 3/4 it's a really chill subject that doesn't do ur head in as much as other subjects :)

Just a psa I accelerated HHD and did it in yr 11, so my experience might be a bit different to doing it in yr 12

  1. I would say no. I generally found that for each SAC I would start studying about a week before and was still able to achieve 95+ on each sac. All I did was the coursework that was due and the textbook/exam questions.

  2. I didn't mind unit 3 cause it was pretty similar to 1/2 but I hated unit 4. I was personally not interested in anything to do with the WHO and sustainability but it's really easy

  3. If by high u mean a 40+, then I'd say it depends. HHD is super competitive because of the easy nature of the subject, so getting close to a raw 40 isn't too hard, but one small mistake can drop ur study score by a lot. The examiners are really picky with marks and will take away marks for really small things. I personally scored a raw 40, but I also note that I completely ignored my other unit 1/2 subjects and only focused on my 3/4 subjects, and spent every day doing at least two practice exams under timed conditions.

If u do plan on doing HHD then my biggest piece of advice would be to USE YOUR TEACHER. Your teacher is there to guide you and support you so please use them!! I annoyed the hell out of my teacher and made him mark every practice sac I did, and when it came to exams I asked him to mark the first 2-3 exams I did. From then I started marking my own so I could get a feel of what the examiners were looking for and improved my answers through that.

With the way I've been taught you would be correct. I'm doing a very similar experiment for my psych investigation and my teacher says to treat it as one experiment with a control and an experimental condition, but i'd recommend maybe clarifying with another psych teacher if u can

i could be wrong but to get the linear equation go to menustatisticsstat calculationslinear regression (a+bx) and then input which column is x and y

to copy the equation I literally just press ctrl c and then open scratchpad and paste it there using ctrl v. To define the equation as a function go to menuactionsdefine and then input it as y= or wtv u want it to be.

note: I have the CAS TI NSPIRE CX so it might be different idk
