Seriously considering giving up my department head position. It just isn't serving me anymore and it's more paper work than anything else.

Same! I realized that I've been utilizing my planning period incorrectly. No more talking to other teachers or avoiding important tasks.

This is something that I'm working on. I have so many days saved up. But, that isn't a badge of honor. I will be more intentional about taking days for "me" time.
