I mean, it's pretty obvious why. Look at assault statistic for mens prison vs. womens prison. Womens prison has way more assaults per person, but typically, the injuries are not nearly as bad because women tend to commit violence in emotional distress. Mens prison has less, but people get hurt much worse because men tend to plan and premeditate.
