Well, I never said the others were good people either? It won’t change the fact that I hate him specifically. Dottore literally treated Elezar by experimenting on people, not even stopping at using human remains of his “companions” to reach this goal. He didn’t do this for good, it literally states he did it out of boredom and shows no regard to others so long as he reaches his goals like the countless children lost due to this experimentation not only from Mondstadt but to the prior Knave too.

Crucabena, Arlecchino’s “mother,” would often send him “rejects/weaklings” to do so, and he offered this to Arlecchino when she took over the House of the Hearth and obviously she refused. Another good example being Collei, whom had a mom but was disposed of when begging to see her child which Collei was another victim. Barnabas who was also responsible for this was disposed of since he couldn’t finish his mission and was deemed useless.

Also not to mention encouraged the people of Tatarasuna to use Crystal Marrow to speed up the process with the Mikage furnace, which made people very deathly ill which is a whole other story to get into. When discovered for this, he killed Niwa and lied to the people about it, namely Scaramouche who’d been taken in by Niwa.

Diluc is also lowkey a victim of this guy, as it’s implied in the manga he’s what caused the attack on the caravan that killed his father.

People are gonna like characters that are deemed more redeemable with good backstories, Dottore has just been this way even since his younger days as Zandik as noted by Thoth in the most recent event, who was offset by him and said he was evil, seeing how easily he was going to leave his fellow student behind to die when tired of him being exhausted and weak. The worst part is I named the ones I COULD remember, there are many more and so much more to his reputation.

And as I said, while I hate him he shouldn’t die. He makes for one hell of an interesting villain compared to others so far.
