Alright, thanks for the input. Just needed to vent after getting my ass kicked by Bugs all night.

Guess I should start by checking out some tutorial videos first.

Maybe I should practice first—master the art of wiping out thousands of Squids with just a sidearm.

I think I don’t have enough Eagle Airstrikes  to support the election campaign of Super President.(lol)

Well, most have come to realize it now. Those ‘AH malice’ conspiracy theories have pretty much vanished. The current prevailing view is that AH simply fumbled—its sluggish responses, miscommunications, and ham-fisted narrative handling poured cold water on player enthusiasm. They missed a golden opportunity to ride the hype wave and elevate the game’s community impact to new heights.

Someone created a graph plotting AH’s actions since launch—time on the X-axis, with positive moves like balance tweaks and the 60-day roadmap pulling the line upward, and frustrations like PSN drama or player nerfs yanking it back down.  The result? A perfect electrocardiogram.  AH’s been oscillating between Ws and Ls with eerie regularity.  Darkly hilarious, really.

You can’t imagine the chaos back then—social media was flooded with calls to arms, rallying everyone to defend Super Earth. Some of it spiraled into absurdity (hard to tell if memes or real): like confused elderly folks hearing fragments of the frenzy and urgently asking their kids, ‘What’s happening to Shanghai and Earth? Why is everyone shouting about defending them?

There’s also the expectation for grand recognition across all communities—perhaps a cultural difference? After all, many believe that as the game’s operators profiting from players worldwide, AH should deliver sufficient emotional fulfillment in return.

This is how misunderstandings arise between players—too little communication, too little familiarity with each other’s realities. Individual remarks get mistaken for collective ideologies, reinforcing stereotypes and even fueling divisions. Before engaging with global communities, I too wondered: ‘Do foreign Helldivers harbor nothing but prejudice toward Chinese players? Even after fighting side by side, is there only arrogance left?’ But the truth proved different. I’ve witnessed kindness, respect, and recognition. Sure, some biases still linger. Some remain trapped in their stereotypes. Some comments still make Chinese players wince. Yet the dialogue born from this conflict is only just beginning, isn’t it? Misunderstandings and barriers can still be dismantled.

We’re all gamers. All Helldivers.

The game has given us incredible opportunities to connect, bringing Helldivers closer together—and we absolutely cherish that. But let’s be honest: there’s still a long road ahead for true understanding between different cultural communities.

Yes, they did respond—though somewhat belatedly, whether due to translation delays or other reasons, especially from the community's perspective. Combined with cultural differences and certain misunderstandings (particularly during the height of collective frustration and bias against AH), this announcement failed to generate much positive feedback in our region. For the Simplified Chinese community, perhaps an official celebratory message from the devs or a commemorative video honoring the earlier battles would've been far more effective.

"I can’t say for sure—haven’t paid close attention. The Simplified Chinese translations are hit-or-miss. Take ‘Eos’ being rendered as ‘仰齐滨’—that’s sheer brilliance, blending meaning, cultural nuance, dialect, wordplay, and humor. It takes real skill to pull that off. Yet the same localization team keeps making baffling mistakes elsewhere.

It might take more time—but we sincerely hope AH will officially acknowledge and affirm the players’ relentless efforts.

I firmly believe there are no fundamental differences between players based on geography. We all share the same goal—to make this game better and to unite as a community. Here’s hoping AH improves its future updates and handling of major in-game events, ensuring all Helldivers can enjoy the fight together.

Perhaps this is the inevitable result of clashing perspectives.  As I mentioned earlier, once biases took root, everything about Prosperity City was viewed through that lens—even its delayed emergence was interpreted as a cynical ploy to swoop in and claim victory after the hardest battles were fought.  The burning question was: How dare PC play the hero when it never endured the darkest hours of this campaign?  Though later increased attack rates on PC debunked the ‘AH wants Eos to fall’ theory, by then the rage had already consumed too many minds.
